October  2014 Prayer Letter

Hello Friends, Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,

The month of October has swiftly gone by. We had the blessing of ministering in three churches; Faith Baptist Church in Madison Heights, VA, Valley View Baptist Church in Buchannan, VA and Cornerstone Baptist Church in Tyro, VA.  We visited three other churches and set up future appointments to share our ministry.  One of the events of the month was the opportunity I had to witness to a Moslem on the internet. The man was very critical of Christians and America. We corresponded for several days and I do hope the seed was planted.

During the month, we have made several visits to the doctor for checkups and I had my hand operated on for trigger finger. We had planned to be In Guatemala and the Philippians during the month of October and November, but do to Susan’s mother being sick and she is 89 we believed it best to stay here in America. We have changed the Guatemala trip to February of 2015.  Philippines will be later in the year.

This month we have also did some repair work on the coach. We had the captain chairs re-upholstered and our yearly service scheduled in December.  This month, (November) we have several meetings and we will finish the year out with our last meeting December 8, 2014. We will have been in fifty churches traveling over twenty-five thousand miles.  By the grace of God, twenty-one people have come to know Christ and several hundred have rededicated there life to Christ. We have ministered to over twenty thousand people by his grace and mercy and your prayers and financial support have guided us through the hand of God. I finished up and published three books this year: Proverbs Book IV, Let’s Go Soul Winning and Keturah.  I also stared working on Ecclesiasts a book I started a few years ago.  We have participated in three mission conferences, two veterans meetings and three gospel concerts on military bases.  I have held several Islamic teaching conference and Prophecy Conferences.  The five tapes (DVD) on Islam are now available. Our 2015 schedule is coming together and we just have a few dates open into April.  If you are in South Carolina, or Georgia I have New Year’s Eve open and the first Sunday in January. I would love to come, preach, and sing for you. Several years ago, we would start the New Year off with a revival. It was a positive time and we always witnessed people coming to Christ.  Pray about it. Our Goals for 2015: 1. To get our support level up so we can do more work for the Lord. We need twenty churches at $50.00 a month to reach our goal. 2. To finish two books and minister in three countries Guatemala, Ukraine and Philippines. 3. To have the book “Let’s Go Soul Winning published in Spanish and Tagola.
